Interviews with team members and stakeholders to see how AI is actually being used, not how it is supposed to be used.
Diagnose the workflow, surface the gaps, recommend the next moves.
Capability assessment across six dimensions to surface where the team is strong and where it is breaking down.
Written report and leadership review with three to five concrete moves the team can make in the next 90 days.
Built for leaders whose teams have tried AI but are not yet seeing team-level impact.
- CEO
- COO
- Chief of staff
- Head of operations
- Head of revenue
- VP / team lead
A four-week engagement that produces a written diagnostic and a clear path forward.
Stakeholder Interviews
Five to seven 60-minute interviews with team members and adjacent stakeholders. Conducted onsite or remote based on what fits the engagement. In-person time often surfaces signal that video calls miss. We see how AI is actually being used, not how the org chart says it should be.
Capability Assessment
The six-dimension framework applied to the team rather than to individuals. Workflow identification, prompting, multi-step use, judgment and verification, output integration, and operating discipline.
Written Report
A diagnostic of the team's current AI usage, the specific gaps surfaced by the interviews and assessment, and three to five recommended moves the team can make in the next 90 days.
Leadership Review
A 90-minute working session, in person or remote, that walks the leadership team through the findings, the recommendations, and the decisions that follow. Not a presentation. A working session.
30-Day Follow-Up
A 60-minute call thirty days after delivery to check what is actually moving and what is not. Often surfaces second-order issues that were not visible at the end of the engagement.
Decision Support
A clear read on whether the team's bottleneck is workflow, tooling, capability, or leadership alignment. That distinction tells you where to invest next.
Outcomes leaders use the audit for.
Outcomes the audit produces
- + Three to five concrete moves the team can make in the next 90 days.
- + A clear read on whether the bottleneck is workflow, tooling, capability, or leadership alignment.
- + Decision support on where to invest next, including whether a deeper engagement is justified.
- + A written artifact you can share inside the org without needing to re-explain the diagnosis.
Who the audit is not for
- × Teams that have not yet started using AI. The audit diagnoses usage. It does not introduce it.
- × Organizations looking for a generic "AI strategy" deck. The audit is workflow-level, not strategy-level.
- × Clients who want a vendor recommendation. We do not select tools. We diagnose how they are used.
- × Teams that need implementation help on day one. The audit is the diagnostic. Implementation comes after.
Investment and process.
The audit is $25,000 flat. Four weeks from kickoff to delivery. One named team or workflow per engagement.
Most clients run the audit on one team and use the findings to decide whether to expand into a fractional Chief AI Officer engagement or invest directly in workflow redesign. Some run it on a second team after seeing how the first one moves.
The price is visible on purpose. Leaders who flinch at the number are not the right fit for this engagement. The ones who do not are usually those who already understand what diagnostic work is worth.
Ready to scope an audit?
Email mark@adviceforge.com with a short note about your team and the workflow you want diagnosed. We will set up a 30-minute scoping call to confirm fit and walk through the engagement.
Most engagements kick off within two weeks of the scoping call.
