Privacy policy

This policy applies to AdviceForge, including the AI Skills Check, clinic-related inquiries, and support communications sent through or in response to adviceforge.com.

What we collect

When you submit the AI Skills Check, we collect your email address, your assessment responses, your result profile, and the report generated from those answers. If you email us about clinics or support, we also collect the information you include in that message.

We also collect limited technical information needed to operate and protect the site, including a hashed version of your IP address, your browser user agent, and basic browser-side storage used to manage saved result notices and admin sessions.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to deliver assessment results, email those results, respond to support or clinic inquiries, operate and improve the service, and protect against abuse or fraudulent activity.

Sharing and service providers

We may share information with service providers that support hosting, email delivery, and AI-assisted narrative generation for assessment results. We may also disclose information when required by law or when needed to protect our rights, property, or safety. We do not sell your personal information.

Retention and security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we store. AdviceForge assessment submissions are stored outside the public web root. We retain information for as long as needed to operate the service, fulfill support requests, improve the product, and meet legal or business obligations, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

Data deletion

To request deletion of AdviceForge data, email support@adviceforge.com with your full name, the email address you used with AdviceForge, and any details that help us identify the record you want removed.

Before deleting data, we may ask for additional information to verify your identity and protect against unauthorized deletion. We aim to process verified deletion requests within 30 days, although backups and some third-party systems may take longer to age out.

We may retain limited information where required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention or financial recordkeeping.

Children, external links, and updates

AdviceForge may link to third-party websites or services that have their own privacy practices. AdviceForge is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
