Legal
AdviceForge is a service of Science Brew LLC. Effective date: May 12, 2026. This page explains what information we collect through adviceforge.com, how we use it, and how to ask us to delete your data.
This policy applies to AdviceForge and to support communications sent through or in response to adviceforge.com.
AdviceForge is operated by Science Brew LLC as Mark Bennett's AI advisory practice.
A visitor can email mark@adviceforge.com to ask about personal data held by AdviceForge or request deletion where applicable.
AdviceForge uses Google Analytics only after a visitor accepts analytics cookies through the consent banner.
If you contact us about fractional Chief AI Officer engagements or other support inquiries, we collect the information you include in that message.
If you request the AI-Powered Executive Kit, we collect your first name, your email address, your self-scored scorecard level if you complete the scorecard, and the optional answer you choose to share about what you would hand off to an AI Chief of Staff.
When you submit a form we record limited technical information needed to operate and protect the site, including a hashed version of your IP address and your browser user agent, which we use to prevent abuse.
If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects information about how you use the site, such as the pages you view, the links you click, your approximate location derived from your IP address, and the device and browser you use. See Cookies and analytics below.
Historical note: the free AI Skills Check and the AI Workflow Audit are retired. Submissions made while those offerings were active (email address, responses, result profile, generated report) remain stored until you request deletion.
We use the information we collect to respond to inquiries about consulting engagements, operate and improve the service, and protect against abuse or fraudulent activity.
Kit signups are used to deliver the kit, to send a short series of follow-up emails about using it (a few notes over the first weeks, then occasional notes from Mark), and for nothing else. We never share or sell your email address, and every email includes a working unsubscribe. To be removed entirely, email mark@adviceforge.com.
This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no third-party trackers other than the analytics described here.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages and links people find useful. It is switched off by default. Nothing is loaded from Google, and no cookies are set, until you choose Accept on the cookie banner. If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga and similar) that distinguish visitors and sessions, and the data is processed by Google, which may transfer it outside your country. Google's handling is covered by the Google Privacy Policy. We have not enabled Google signals or advertising personalization.
If you choose Reject, no analytics cookies are set and no request is made to Google. We store only your choice, so the banner does not ask again. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page.
A small amount of browser storage is also used to remember your cookie choice and, on the kit pages, to keep you signed in to content you have already requested. That storage is necessary for those features to work and is not used for tracking.
If you are in the UK, the European Economic Area, or another region with similar laws, you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that happened before you withdrew it.
We rely on your consent for analytics cookies, and on our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the site for the limited technical information described above. Where you have asked us to send you something, such as the kit, we process your details to provide what you requested.
To exercise any of these rights, email mark@adviceforge.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
We may share information with service providers that support hosting, email delivery and, if you accept analytics cookies, website analytics (Google). We may also disclose information when required by law or when needed to protect our rights, property, or safety. We do not sell your personal information.
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we store. Historical AdviceForge submissions from the retired offerings are stored outside the public web root. We retain information for as long as needed to operate the service, fulfill support requests, and meet legal or business obligations, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
To request deletion of AdviceForge data, email mark@adviceforge.com with your full name, the email address you used with AdviceForge, and any details that help us identify the record you want removed.
Before deleting data, we may ask for additional information to verify your identity and protect against unauthorized deletion. We aim to process verified deletion requests within 30 days, although backups and some third-party systems may take longer to age out.
We may retain limited information where required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention or financial recordkeeping.
AdviceForge may link to third-party websites or services that have their own privacy practices. AdviceForge is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this page as AdviceForge changes. If you have questions about privacy or deletion, contact mark@adviceforge.com.
